Yes you can do this.
1. Start MicroDicom and open all DICOM images that you want to convert. You can use 'Scan for DICOM files'.
2. Open Export to image dialog.
3. Select source - all patients

If you look in Tools menu/Options, Animation tab. There is option for source of animation. You can choose 'current series' or 'current patient' for example.

Yes, you can play DICOM images with MicroDicom. There is 'Animation' toolbar with 'Play' button. Also there are animation options located in Tools menu/Options, Animation tab.

Hello
There is a new feature in latest version 2.2.5 - 'Copy to Folder'.
When you open all images from a CD in MicroDicom viewer you can use 'File menu/Copy to Folder menu' to copy images from CD to a folder on your hard drive.

You have to associate .zip file extension with MicroDicom viewer in Windows settings.
