Feature request: Export each Dicom plane as separate files

Post by rlederman » Wed Jul 25, 2018 2:25 pm

Hello
In cardiology, it is common do perform multiple simultaneous acquisitions in "biplane" mode.
Your export to video feature seems to append additional video files for each selected source (typically a series).
It would be great if the export could generate separate video files for each dicom plane. Such as seriesx-plane1, seriesx-plane2.
For extra credit, side-by-side!

As always, thanks you so much for your magnificent tool.

Hello Robert, Apologize for late answer.
Could you explain in more details?
Do you want to combine plane from different images?

P.S. I don't forget for export PPT, it is in our TODO list. But we still have more work.

Hello

On the contrary, I want MicroDICOM NOT to combine multiple planes.

I have observed on biplane AX systems that two different planes are combined and export as a single video series. Instead these two planes that have identical timestamps should be exported as two different related video series, such as SERIESXXPlane01 and SERIESXXPlane02. I can't think of a use case where the two should be combined into a single series.

Many many thanks,
robert
