I have emailed support about this, but I thought I’d post it on this forum as well - maybe some of you guys have seen the same problem?!
I am using MicroDicom to look at echocardiography studies.
I am downloading raw DICOM studies, always from the same machine, i.e. Vivid 9 from GE.
Some of them play on my PC at home, some don’t. The ones that don’t only have still images – animation does NOT work, no matter which parameters I tweak in the animation menu. The animation menu is blanked out.
They have the same data volume as the studies that show proper moving pictures – so I don’t think its about missing data here.
The ALL play correctly on another PC when imported into EchoPac, the official GE software that allows to play and modify raw DICOM studies.
I thus conclude that it could be a software bug within MicroDicom that prevents some of the studies from playing.
Yes – I am using your latest version, just downloaded and installed it, but no joy.
I would be very grateful for your help and tips.
