Only names and no images

Hello everyone .
I've archived files on an external hard drive , but there was no dicom files , so I used microdicom to explore the folder and it found 112 and should images of 28 patients
So I thought some files were missing and that's why only 28 shows images , so I've copied the files again and now it shows 335 patients and non of them shows images

I think the guy in the link had the same problem
https://forum.microdicom.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=980

P.S. : I've used radiant as well , the first time it only showed patients with images (28) and now it shows nothing

Thank you

I am having the same problem. Images have high quality but when I open them with Microdicom I only obtain a black screen with the names

Hello,
Could you send us a sample file that show black screen? support@microdicom.com
We have to investigate them.

Hello,

I have the same problem - no image, black screen with name only.

MicroDicom viewer, version 2.9.2 (build 1566)

There is two possibilities. The DICOM image doesn't have image data or MicroDicom can't decode image data for some reason.
Please send us a sample file to support@microdicom.com

Thanks for sending us this file.
We already investigated it. This file is generated wrongly. Some mandatory attribute are missing. For example PlanarConfiguration.

Yes we can fix it. But it will be in disagreement with DICOM standard.
Planar Configuration (0028,0006)
Indicates whether the pixel data are encoded color-by-plane or color-by-pixel. Required if Samples per Pixel (0028,0002) has a value greater than 1. See Section C.7.6.3.1.3 for further explanation.
In this file samples per Pixel is 3 then Planar configuration have to be exist .

There is tool by David Clunie that you can verify a DICOM file. DICOM Validator - dciodvfy
E:\work\tools\dicom3tools_winexe_1.00.snapshot.20180803063840>dciodvfy "E:\work\Other\medical images problem\Sample\19041020\00000001"
