DiCOM viewer compatibility question

Post by RAD » Thu Aug 09, 2012 11:24 pm

I'm a newbie so bare with me. We're replacing AGFA PACS. The PACS system we're interested in ties into our Practice Mgt nice but the viewer isn't the greatest. Any reason why we couldn't use the MicroDicom viewer for viewing instead of theirs? Also, can I use any DiCOM viewer with any DiCOM images? For example, can we use OsiriX viewer on our Apple Macs & MicroDicom on our Win7 PCs to view the same images? Thx!

Yes you can use it. And you can view any DICOM images.

Hello, I am using Microdicom 0.54 on MS Windows and I would like to add a text label to my image. I found that I could add a "Text" button to the toolbar, but it is grayed out.
