Exporting raw images

Post by mkupper » Tue Mar 15, 2016 10:41 pm

I have a set of 27 images in a DICOM series. I inspected one of the files and saw that it has a small header with the DICOM data followed by a JPEG image. Image #1 is 4,578,880 bytes.

If I export the images it defaults to 75% quality and the resulting IN000001.jpg file is 419,701 bytes.

I exported again using 100% quality and got a 1,165,791 byte IN000001.jpg file.

Is there an option to extract and export the raw JFIF (JPEG) data into a file so that I know there was no data loss other than removing the DICOM header?
